50 shades of dark circles under your eyes?
Most women including myself, want to age gracefully. I get asked about wrinkles and fine lines around the eye area on a daily basis. "Doctor Gill, can you recommend anything? Doctor Gill, what do you use?"
The long simple answer is: yes! I recommend 2 simple things.
1) Sunglasses. Wear sunglasses everyday when you're outside, whether it's sunny or not. Research has shown that exposure to UV radiation causes premature aging and the second you step outside, there's UV radiation. Larger styles are better as you get more surface area of the eye protected by a UV filter. Also make sure those sunglasses came from an optometrist or equally reputable place (not a flea market) because even though the label may say 100% UVA/UVB, it likely is not.
2) Grape seed oil. An amazing oil that comes from the seeds of grapes. It is a great source of flavonoids, essential fatty acid, linoleic acid, and vitamin E. Studies suggest that grape seed oil and it's extract are naturally anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-aging. 73% of grape seed oil is composed of linoleic acid which may be beneficial for promoting skin health.
Grape seed oil is totally loaded with anti-inflammatories and antioxidants. Because of this, it has been found to tighten skin, relieve dark circles under the eyes, moisturize without clogging pores, and protect against UV radiation. Studies have shown that the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity of grape seed oil may reduce damage to skin cells and enhance the production of collagen and elastin which is important for aging gracefully!
So exciting!
I recommend applying a premium grade grape seed oil to the eye area overnight. So in the evening before bedtime, it's great to kill two birds with one stone. Our We Love Eyes tea tree makeup remover is formulated with grape seed oil sourced from the Mediterranean. It's as potent as it comes. Cleanse, protect and wake up ageless.
Love and healthy eyes,
